Testimonials

"As a parent of a freshman college student, I was very concerned about the choice of a sorority for my daughter...was the Greek lifestyle even appropriate as a freshman, would she be distracted from studies, her athletics, her faith, her community service? But my daughter choose wisely...

She is now a junior and she has been an ADPI since her freshman year. These girls are so devoted to each other, helping each other become the most amazing adults during this whirlwind period in their lives. This sorority is about excellence...academics, leadership, social conscience, community service.

The ADPI home is a serene haven for the girls to gather, eat, study and live. As a mother, I cannot express how grateful I am that my daughter has had this incredible opportunity.

I would encourage every parent to discuss this choice with their daughter and to truly evaluate the great benefits of being an ADPI."

"As my daughter embarked on a new chapter of her life, I never thought she would chose to go to school so far from home. Growing up in Georgia, I thought she would attend an in state school that was at most three hours away. When she came to my wife and me with the aspiration of attending the University of Central Florida, I had to be as supportive as possible.

Courtney is my only child and had never lived away from home without us. She was ready to start this new chapter but in the back of my mind I had many reservations whether or not she would actually be okay being eight hours from home. When she came to me and told me she would be rushing to join a sorority, I was very relieved. Coming from a family full of Greeks, I knew that it would serve as a “home away from home” and would hopefully be the perfect addition to her college experience.

She is now going to be a junior this year, and her joining Alpha Delta Pi is one of the best decisions she has made in her life. Alpha Delta Pi encourages academics and with that Courtney has a 3.8 GPA and is part of many honors societies within her major. The sorority has opened up so many opportunities, and I look forward to seeing what else is to come."

"'We Live for Each Other' As an Alpha Delta Pi sister, these words have always meant a great deal to me, but never more so than when my own daughter was beginning her college years. As she made decisions about her major, activities and affiliations during those exciting times, I was so happy and relieved that she chose sorority life and Alpha Delta Pi as her home away from home. She is now a senior and as a result of her experiences in Alpha Delta Pi, she has matured into a caring, capable, dynamic young woman.

Alpha Delta Pi encourages my daughter, as well as every sister, to achieve all that she aspires to; providing endless opportunities to develop leadership and life skills, and supporting all the various individual goals of the sisters. These young women are among the top on the UCF campus – highest Greek GPA, honor society members, campus leadership positions, community service and philanthropy project coordinators - the list is endless.

There is also great comfort in knowing that my daughter always has a sister to share both the good times and the tough times with her – and I know her ADPi sisters will also be there for those times in the years to come, long after they have finished college. In the ADPi house there is always laughter, a shoulder to lean on when times are tough, a hand to prop you up when help is needed, and still more laughter. ADPi is a lifelong sisterhood and these friendships and the times shared together will remain with my daughter into the future, just as they have with me.

Alpha Delta Pi, the first secret society for college women, was founded 158 years ago, and the high ideals of our founders remain the same. ADPi has fostered excellence in my daughter while offering her friendships that will last a lifetime. What a great decision she made when choosing Alpha Delta Pi! I couldn’t have wished for anything more for my daughter! ADPi truly is….First. Finest. Forever."
